Of bulkheads, ceiling panels and lead lights
Was always fascinated with the old Victorian architecture, which indicates our taste is getting sophisticated or just getting old.
Hoping to generate a feeling of grand entrance is the ceiling panel whilst the size of the entrance is not really grand ..
then off to the formal living where another ceiling panel would hopefully compliment the piano and the fireplace
and the lead lights on the front door and windows complimenting the "rose"
The old door complementing the NEW one ...
It's quite fascinating to see the geometries of the house and the different colours and shapes created when the light hits these led lights
Her kitchen rules ...
They say that the Wife's kingdom is the Kitchen ... and looking at the cupboards and drawers and island bench this is a continent and not an island ;-)
Complimentary wine rack ... seems not enough?
Farmhouse sink ... wondering what will be cleaned here?
and my favourite ... soft close drawers :-p which was also complimentary ...

17 August - Roof and gutters installed ...

5 August - Seems the construction is flying ... and after a week, the windows have been installed.
Glimpse of the attic ...
27 July - Trusses up and now you can start to see the glimpse of the famed attic :-)
